MoveAsync

public Task<Message> MoveAsync(long messageId, long topicId, CancellationToken cancellationToken)

result = iMessageService.MoveAsync(messageId, topicId, cancellationToken)

Moves a message with all the replies below it into another topic, where it becomes a reply to the first message of that topic; the replies keep their own parents. Moving the first message of a topic moves its whole thread and deletes the emptied topic, which can be restored. Only a content manager may move, and private conversations take no part in moves.

messageId

The id of the message.

topicId

The id of the topic to move the message to.

cancellationToken

The cancellation token.

Returns: The message in its new topic.

ResolveMarkdownAsync

public Task<ResolvedMarkdownData> ResolveMarkdownAsync(MarkdownReferences references, long domainId, CancellationToken cancellationToken)

result = iMessageService.ResolveMarkdownAsync(references, domainId, cancellationToken)

Resolves the references a markdown text makes, for a client that renders the text itself. The text is not passed or returned: the client already has it, and reading a message already strips what the reader is not entitled to see.
